Role Description

Housed within the External Relations Directorate, the Centre for Lifelong Learning is a busy hub for a variety of adult learning activities, and runs both learning for pleasure and accredited programmes of study for the local community, and beyond. It also offers a selection of online postgraduate programmes.

We are looking for a Courses Administrator to join our team. You will be part of a small team that works collaboratively to deliver a growing portfolio of courses. An excellent communicator, your 'can do' attitude will underpin the work of a busy team.

You will provide the core administrative support for the evening and day class programme and deal with a wide range of general enquiries from students and staff.  You must be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator with attention to detail and be able to apply a methodical approach to your work. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.

Informal enquiries are welcome and should be made to Hannah Lyus at hannah.lyus@york.ac.uk

The University strives to be diverse and inclusive  – a place where we can ALL be ourselves.

We particularly encourage applications from people who identify as Black, Asian or from a Minority Ethnic background, who are underrepresented at the University.

We offer family friendly, flexible working arrangements, with forums and inclusive facilities to support our staff. #EqualityatYork
