The York Law School (YLS) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced administrator to work flexibly across professional support services for the Department and Centre for Applied Human Rights (CAHR).
This role is offered on a full time, open basis and involves working in both locations across the week. As the first point of contact you will provide comprehensive administrative support to both the YLS and CAHR, supporting colleagues, students, visitors and human right defenders taking part in the Protective Fellowship Scheme at CAHR. The successful candidate must have the ability to multitask and prioritise workload, whilst being flexible, and able to deal with matters as they arise in a professional and confident manner.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and solutions based approach.
