We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant / Driver to work in one of our Nisa stores based at the University of York. You will work as part of a team to offer a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient retail service to all customers. The post holder will be responsible for our new “tuck shop” on campus, providing a service to University students with Nisa products.
As well as serving customers at locations around campus and ensuring sufficient stock is available, your duties will also include ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and well presented at all times. You will also need to ensure licensing laws, age related product legislation and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
You will have first class communication and customer service skills, experience of working within the retail sector and have the ability to work as part of a team
This position is term time only (30 weeks per year) for 20 hours per week.
The starting salary offered is £5862 per annum (£9.77 per hour).
This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
The typical shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, 16:00-20:00.
