We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Supermarket Manager to work in our Nisa stores based at the University of York.
As Assistant Supermarket Manager (multi-site), you will provide effective day to day management of two retail stores, a merchandise store and laundrette and vending facilities across the University of York campus. The role holder will fully deputise for the Retail Supermarket Manager in their absence.
Key responsibilities will be working with the Retail Supermarket Manager to ensure the quality, profitability and growth of the supermarkets and to provide a high level of training, motivation and supervision of staff in order to maintain an excellent level of customer service.
You should have experience of managing a small team and knowledge of the retail environment and budgets. You should also have excellent communication and customer service skills.
The starting salary offered is £27,511.69 and this is a full-time position for 37 hours per week.
