The Department of Education at the University of York is seeking a Research Associate for 10 months to work with Dr Umar Toseeb on a project funded by the Sir Halley Stewart Trust called “Genetic and Environmental Influences on Mental Illness in Young People with Developmental Language Disorder”. The aim of the project is to investigate the relative contributions of genetic and environmental influences on the longitudinal trajectories of mental health difficulties from childhood through to adolescence. This will be achieved through the secondary analysis of existing data from UK-based birth cohorts. The post would ideally be from January to October 2022, but we would consider some flexibility. Flexible and remote working options are available in line with University policies.
