In 2019, the National Health Service (NHS) Long Term Plan outlined the need to ensure health and care services had enough qualified and experienced staff. More people than ever before want to train as health and care professionals; this means more learners should expect access to a timely, high-quality placement and learning experience.
NHS investment has been awarded to the Humber Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership Integrated Care System (ICS) with the specific purpose of increasing the number of clinical placements for Non-Medical Health and Care professionals. This will enable the ICS, to deliver the future health and care workforce in sufficient numbers and with the skills they need.
