Role Description


The Department of Sociology are looking to recruit a Student Support Administrator to support all student-facing services within the department.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft or Google office software (especially spreadsheet tools) to a good level
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise own work and follow procedures in order to produce work to a high standard, to required deadlines
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office within a large complex organisation
  • Experience of providing an excellent standard of customer service
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently
  • Able to work with a range of people as part of a team
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters and act with discretion

This is a fixed term post for 12 months
