The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit is based within the Research and Enterprise team, who support and develop research, knowledge transfer and impact activities. The CPD Unit aims to:

The CPD Unit has both internal customers (those developing, managing and delivering CPD in academic departments) and external customers (external organisations/businesses or professional individuals wishing to undertake training) and is focused on providing a high standard of service to both customer groups.
Role
Working as part of a team, you will provide administrative support to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit. Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
You will undertake a varied range of administrative duties including registration of and communication with delegates, using specific course management software, creating and updating webpages, inbox management, organisation of meetings and training courses, liaising with key external customers, administering customer and trainer contracts, monitoring budgets, general financial administration and administration of external funding and accreditation. This role is partially matched to a European Social Fund (ESF) funded project (Specialist Skills Support Programme), duties related to this project will include monitoring and general administration in line with funder rules.
