We can promise a greater work life balance than other retailers. We thrive to create a great working environment and our fantastic retention levels at senior management level speaks volumes. Our partnership with NISA and investment in new technology such as Kodypay helps us to stay competitive and innovative. You will be expected to lead on a lot of these innovative developments.

The Store Manager spends a lot of time on the shop floor, working alongside the team, keeping our customers happy and ensuring the store is hitting its targets. They should take pride in their team, developing them and leading from the front, as if running their own business. Taking full ownership of the stores, you'll experience the thrill of hitting targets, solving problems and reaching your potential. When you join us, we'll support you to get started, showing you our best practice and optimal processes, then it's up to you to make your store a success. We can't promise it will be easy, and can be challenging, but we know you'll love leading our teams, providing excellent service to our customers.

As the Supermarket Manager, you'll be managing all aspects of the operation within 3 supermarket stores, one retail outlet and vending machines and laundrettes across campus.  You will report into the Head of Retail.

The person we want is passionate and can work in a fast-paced environment, can think on their feet. We want people that can influence and bring fun into the working week. You will be able to support your colleagues and work as one team. Management experience and retail experience – preferably within food retail is essential.

The hours of work available are 37 hours a week, working on a full year basis. A flexible approach is required as you may be required to work evenings, weekends and/or bank holidays as part of your standard working hours.
