Role Description

Post 1: IT Services - Full Time 37 hours a week / Open contract

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a friendly forward thinking project team at the University of York. The team is widely recognised across the organisation for its project management and business analysis expertise and collaborative approach.

You will enjoy working in a high performing team and through the support provided be part of the team's ongoing success. The role will require experience of working on cross-functional projects and the ability to apply new tools and techniques effectively. As a Business Analyst you will support discovery work both in a change and development environment

As a department we are both agile in our thinking and in our delivery methodology. Our team has varied roles for Business Analysts and you may be asked to work on a project or to join one of our service delivery teams according to the needs of our portfolio. Post 2: Environment and Geography - Part time 18.5 hours a week / fixed term for 12 months.

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Department of Environment & Geography undertake an exciting strategic development process. This role is available as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates.

You will work closely with academic colleagues and the departmental leadership team, using your knowledge of tools and techniques to support the Department’s ambitious strategic goals. As a Business Analyst at York, you will have access to a supportive community of practice to help you continuously develop.
