Role Description

As Centre Receptionist you will provide a welcoming and professional service to all residents, visitors and colleagues. You will ensure the smooth running of reception by providing efficient, friendly and customer focused service to all at York Science Park Ltd. You will be responsible for the Centre’s administrative tasks and support the Science Park Management team with administration as required.

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including maths and English, grade C or above) is essential. You will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a positive outlook. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team within a customer focused environment, delivering excellent customer care.

The starting salary offered is £16,824 per annum (reduced pro rata).

This position is part time for 27 hours per week and will be on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

The anticipated shift pattern will be as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday, 08:30-14:00, Friday 08:30-13:30
