The Department of Education at the University of York is seeking to appoint three part time (0.5 FTE) Associate Lecturers (Teaching & Scholarship) in Education to provide additional support for the 2021 intake of students on a number of our MA Programmes.
The post of Associate Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) in Education is suitable for a positive, proactive and experienced tutor in education, or a related discipline who has established a track record of high-quality teaching and who is committed to excellence in teaching and supervision. You will play a part in supervision, assessment, teaching and administration within the Department. The main focus of the roles will be to provide pastoral and dissertation supervision for postgraduate students and assist with the marking of summative assessments. You will join a collegial and supportive group of staff in the Department.
You must meet the following essential criteria:
Experience of working successfully with international students would be desirable.
The appointments will be from 1 February 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. These are part time posts available on a fixed term basis until 31st December 2021
