Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to serve meals, snacks and beverages, and maintain cleanliness in our outlets across the University of York campus.

The role would suit someone with the ability to be versatile and forward thinking. If you share our vision for excellent customer service then join the team. You will need enthusiasm and the ability to communicate effectively.

Previous experience in the catering industry is desirable but training will be provided to ensure you achieve our goals.

The hours will be as and when required, on a casual basis.

Rate of Pay:

  • £8.20 per hour  (age under 25)
  • £8.72 per hour (age 25 or over)

The shifts will be mostly evenings, with the core hours from 16:00 until 21:30 Monday to Friday, plus other shifts patterns as required.
