Role Description


We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Supervisor to join the Desktop and Printing Services within IT Services.  We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and technically capable individual.  

Skills, Experience & Qualifications needed

Candidates who can demonstrate a strong mix of technical knowledge with excellent customer focus and organisational skills will have a distinct advantage.

  • You will be comfortable communicating with a range of people, from University staff to external suppliers
  • You will have knowledge of current IT hardware trends
  • You will have proven organisational skills
  • You will have the delegation and interpersonal skills required to coordinate a high performing team
  • A full driving licence is required. 

The role is available on a full time, open basis.  A flexi-time scheme operates which allows for flexible working within operational guidelines. You will work full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Occasional weekend and bank-holiday working may be required to cover the service at peak times.
