Department

The Registrar and Secretary leads the University’s professional services and holds responsibility for the effective and efficient operations and governance of the University.

Role

The Registrar and Secretary’s Office is a very busy one which responds to a wide variety of work. You will be responsible for the coordination of the Registrar and Secretary’s diary, servicing a range of meetings and committees, drafting correspondence, supporting recruitment processes, arranging national and international travel and supporting VIP visits to the University. You will often be the first point of contact for a variety of enquiries, and key to the role is ensuring that priorities are reflected in all areas. In this role there will be the opportunity to help support the delivery of a diverse range of projects. The position of PA reports to the Registrar’s Executive Officer and will work closely with the Registrar and Secretary.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

You will have thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes used in a busy office within a large, complex organisation. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and will be committed to providing an excellence standard of customer service. You will be able to manage a varied workload, effectively organise and prioritise your own work and follow procedures in order to produce work to a high standard and to required deadlines.
