As part of improving the security posture of the University of York, a new and exciting role as IT Security Support Specialist has been created. An entry level Security role, this might suit someone currently working in support looking to move into the security industry, or a recent graduate with an interest in cybersecurity.
You’ll spend most of your time supporting the activities of the Security team, dealing with user queries and following standard procedures, with a proportion of time allocated to performing a specialism.
We’d love to hear from anyone with a demonstrable interest in IT Security… if you’re thinking “how do I break this?” when you look at a system, you might be the person we’re looking for.
