We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate, for a period of 2 years, to support Professor Niall MacKay and the work of the York Historical Warfare Analysis Group. The successful candidate will have expertise in applied mathematics and statistical modelling, and experience of their use in operations research and military history. The post-holder will also be able to support teaching in the areas of applied mathematics, probability and statistics, and mathematical programming.
