Role Description

York Campus Nursery are looking for two Apprentice Early Years Educators, to join the team to provide at all times a warm, safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children aged 0-5, within the nursery’s care.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, who has a keen interest in pursuing a career within childcare. As an Apprentice you will participate in structured and supervised on the job training to achieve a level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.  

Key Requirements

  • Commitment to study towards and achieve a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship
  • GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification (preferred)
  • An ability to work sympathetically with children and parents
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and practical hygiene issues
  • Ability to work calmly whilst working in a hectic environment

The fixed term contract is for a period of two years, working 37 hours per week. The salary is £13,408 per annum.

You will be entitled to 30 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per annum (some of which will be taken when the nursery is closed).
