Role Description

Department

The Centre for Global Programmes runs a portfolio of short courses and summer schools for partner universities.  These programmes aim to build new international relationships and enhance existing relationships with key University partners across the globe and support the University’s internationalisation strategy. The Centre is an integral part of the newly formed International Recruitment, Partnerships and Mobility team in the External Relations Directorate.

Role

We require a full-time Programme Manager to project manage and teach on the University’s bespoke short programmes and summer schools in the Centre for Global Programmes.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

You will be an experienced course leader and teacher who has worked with educational organisations in the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities include coordinating teams of tutors and visiting lecturers, teaching and supervising students and clients on a range of different courses, materials preparation and development, designing and implementing assessment schemes and being part of the business development team to help build sustainable international relationships with partner universities.

There are two positions available, one on an open contract and one fixed term for a year.
