Role Description

The University of York runs a highly successful Innovate UK-funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme as part of its portfolio of research and knowledge exchange interactions with businesses and other organisations. The number of prestigious KTP projects awarded to University of York has grown significantly over the last few years and we are now looking to expand further. Support and management for this programme, including brokerage of projects and pre- and post-award administration, is handled within the Knowledge Transfer Team in the Research and Enterprise Directorate, under the direction of the Knowledge Transfer Manager and supported by an experienced administrator.

A new Knowledge Transfer Partnership Project Manager role has recently been created to work with the KT Manager to grow the number of KTPs by identifying, securing and managing new projects. The post holder will be required to provide robust pre- and post-award project management for their KTP portfolio in accordance with Innovate UK and University of York guidelines and procedures. The post will be based at the Ron Cooke Hub at the University of York.
