Department

The Payroll Team is responsible for processing pay for over 9,000 individuals each month using the Zellis Resourcelink payroll system.

Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Apprentice to join our small, friendly team of five comprising of three Administrators, two Team Leaders and the Payroll Manager. The role requires high levels of accuracy and confidentiality. 

This role offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to complete a Payroll Apprenticeship. You will receive plenty of support whilst working and training within a busy Payroll department.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking End Point Assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3
  • GCSE Maths and Science, or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise own work and follow procedures in order to produce work to a high standard, to required deadlines
  • Able to analyse, diagnose and resolve problems
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Following detailed instructions
  • Following tasks through to completion
