Role Description

The University is seeking a motivated Training and Communications Specialist to further develop and lead the training and communications provided by the Finance Department to the wider University community.  This is a new role created to support the Department with the aim of engaging our customers by improving communications and developing relevant training.  Working for one of the UK’s leading higher education institutions, the role offers a first-rate working environment and excellent career opportunity, whilst benefiting from a campus based community surroundings.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading and supporting the Department in developing the Finance related training available and improving communications, with the aim of ensuring key processes and procedures are followed and improving cross team working.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to build a network of key contacts across the University, and be a team player with a drive to get things right first time.

Key Requirements

  • Educated to A level or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of training techniques
  • Excellent writing and IT skills
