Role Description

The opportunity has arisen for a full-time administrator to join the Department of Computer Science growing student services support team. You will be part of newly formed team called Student and Academic Support Services who provide effective support to a range of academic programmes and related administration.

Role

The Student and Academic Administrator (SAA) is a key role supporting Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) student operations in the department. However, the primary focus will be supporting Undergraduate programmes, records and assessment.

The role holder may be required to work evenings or weekends at busy times of the year to support the needs of the department.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • This role would suit a candidate who has worked in a busy administrative office working with competing deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy in work. You will provide an efficient but high quality service supporting both academic colleagues and students. You will be proactive, methodical and able to communicate regularly on progress of tasks. The role requires a professional attitude with the willingness to help and be adaptable.
