An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented professional to join the Research and Enterprise Directorate’s Intellectual Property and Legal Team.
This role gives the opportunity for an interesting and varied portfolio of research contract work focused across a wide variety of academic disciplines. The role will also take on responsibility for ensuring compliance with access and benefit-sharing under the Nagoya Protocol and the Convention on Biological Diversity.
You should have a strong background in drafting and negotiating research-related agreements with a wide range of organisations. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of contract law and intellectual property law. You should have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised, have a positive can-do attitude, and a customer service mind-set.
