Role Description

The Content Producer will be part of the White Rose Industrial Physics Academy (WRIPA) and will be based in the Department of Physics at the University of York. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the digital presence of The Academy is engaging and relevant to the needs of multiple audiences, such as companies, undergraduate students and academic members of staff.  You will do this by creating, managing and editing digital content such as images, graphics, videos and brochures for The Academy's website and its social media presence.  WRIPA’s enhanced digital presence will better inform physics students of regional career opportunities and promote the physics students’ skills base and departmental expertise to regional employers. This role will support the strategic aim of WRIPA to improve the employability of physics graduates that wish to work in the local region of Yorkshire, Humberside and East Midlands.

You will work closely with the WRIPA Project Manager and the wider WRIPA team to maintain an integrated website and social media channels ensuring that messaging is relevant, engaging and that it promotes WRIPA effectively. This role will suit an individual who is proactive, well organised and an excellent team player.
