Department

The Department of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to work in an interesting and varied student-facing role providing a professional and efficient administrative service for students and staff.

Role

Working closely with colleagues in the Programme Administration Team, the Programme Administrator will provide general administration for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students registered on the Department’s taught programmes. You will support a wide range of processes from enquiry through to graduation, including admissions, maintaining student records, programme and module management, administration of assessments and supporting committees.  

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

You will be an efficient and professional administrator who has knowledge and experience of administrative processes and procedures used within a busy administrative environment in a large complex organisation. You will have excellent IT skills, outstanding oral and written communication and an ability to work with a high level of accuracy in your work.

This role would suit candidates who are able to work in a proactive manner, exercise initiative where appropriate and have the ability to review and develop existing processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose. The role requires interaction with a wide range of staff and students and a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are essential in order to meet the requirements of the role.
