Role Description

This is an opportunity to join a key part of the University's professional support services, which delivers effective business intelligence and insight within a highly effective and proactive team.

You will have a solid understanding of the interactive visualisation of quantitative information, the good management of data in relational databases, and an energetic approach to problem solving and delivering high quality solutions.  Working with expert colleagues across many support services and the central business intelligence and IT teams, you will play a key role in developing our new management information framework and the implementation of master data management principles across the University.

The post is available on a full-time basis, on a fixed term contract until the end of July 2020.

A flexi-time scheme operates which allows for flexible working within operational guidelines.

For an informal discussion, please contact Dan Cashdan, Acting Head of Business Intelligence, dan.cashdan@york.ac.uk

The provisional interview date is held as 20th September 2019

The University is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community  – a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit. We offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, staff engagement forums, campus facilities and services to support staff from different backgrounds.
