Role Description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join our team to plan and deliver a range of high quality, fun sports and activity sessions to children between the ages of 6 and 14 during the school summer holidays.

We are looking for coaches with a Level 1 or Level 2 Sports National Governing Body qualification or a teaching qualification.

Essential attributes: 

  • Level 1 or Level 2 NGB Coaching Qualification or a teaching qualification.
  • Experience of working with young children.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive can-do attitude.
  • An ability to motivate and enthuse groups of children with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Self-driven with an ability to work off own initiative.
  • Good behavioural management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Other desirable attributes:

  • Previous coaching experience.
  • A passion for sport.
    First Aid qualification.
  • Safeguarding training.

Please note a DBS will need to be completed by successful applicants.

The Camps will run during the following 5-weeks: 

  • w/c 22nd July & w/c 5th / 12th / 19th / 26th August. Ideally, we are looking for coaches who can commit to full weeks and ideally more than one of the weeks on offer. 

Lead Coach

The rate of pay will be £12.81 per hour.

Assistant Coach

The rate of pay will be £7.70 per hour (under 25’s) or £8.21 per hour (25 and over).
