Role Description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Triathlon Coaches to join our team to deliver high quality, fun, junior Triathlon sessions to children between the ages of 8 and 15.

We are looking for coaches with a Level 1 or Level 2 qualification in either Triathlon, Cycling or Running.

Essential attributes:

  • Relevant NGB Coaching Qualification.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive can-do attitude.
  • An ability to motivate and enthuse groups of children with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Good behavioural management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Other desirable attributes:

  • Experience of working with young children and / or previous coaching experience.
  • A passion for sport

Please note a DBS will need to be completed by successful applicants.

The hours of work are flexible but initially approximately 2 hours per week, subject to bookings.  Please note we cannot guarantee hours each week.  Additional work may be available subject to qualification, experience and interest.

Lead Coach

The rate of pay will be £12.81 per hour.

Assistant Coach

The rate of pay will be £7.70 per hour (under 25’s) or £8.21 (25 and over).
