We are looking for a lively and outgoing team member to contribute to our administrative activities in the International Recruitment Team. You will play a key role in supporting many of the International Recruitment Team’s activities including providing pre and post event administrative support with international recruitment activity, attending UK based recruitment events, hosting incoming visits from prospective students, assisting with promotional and marketing activity, and dealing with daily email enquiries from prospective students, applicants and agents. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you will have a good understanding of issues relating to international student recruitment in a higher education context. You will have worked in a busy customer-focused environment and have experience of adapting to changing priorities and flexible deadlines. You will be a confident communicator displaying cultural sensitivity to those from different backgrounds and nationalities.
Joining at an exciting time for the University as we launch an ambitious new strategy for international growth, you will work alongside colleagues in the York-based team as well as with colleagues in the University’s recently established representative offices in Delhi, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur to further the development and delivery of the University’s international recruitment strategy.
There are two posts, one available full time (37 hours a week) and one available part time (18.5 hours a week, Monday to Wednesday)
