This post in the Academic Support Office’s Programme Design and Learning Technology Team will provide professional advice and support to academic departments for the development of degree programmes, which may include fully online programmes. You will work intensively and pro-actively with programme teams to develop proposals that embed the principles of the York Pedagogy, including excellent learning and assessment design and distinctive and ambitious learning outcomes. You will also work as a ‘business partner’ for programme teams, supporting ongoing reflection, review and enhancement once programmes are running.
Knowledge and experience of pedagogy and of effective approaches to teaching and student learning in HE are required, both face-to-face and online, together with excellent communication skills. The salary will be in the Grade 6 range.
