We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well organised Undergraduate Admissions Administrator to work within the busy Undergraduate Admissions team of the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office at the University of York. A friendly and helpful manner is essential, combined with a flexible approach to work and an ability to work efficiently with large volumes to tight deadlines.
Your primary purpose in the team will be to provide an efficient and effective undergraduate admissions service to applicants and departments by processing applications and decisions, supporting visit day and interview arrangements and responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
With experience of working in a busy office environment, you will possess first-rate communication skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. You will have excellent IT and word processing skills with experience of using databases and spreadsheets.
This post is located within the Undergraduate Admission Team but there will be opportunities for cross-working with other teams within Student Recruitment and Admissions.
