We are looking for a Project Coordinator with excellent organisational skills to join the support staff team at the Centre for Health Economics (CHE), a research department at the University of York. The post holder will play a vital role working closely with researchers and other Project Coordinators in CHE to support a range of research and Centre projects including research data governance.
This is an interesting and varied post providing coordination, planning and administrative support for research and Centre projects. Working with research leaders you will facilitate communication between the research team and the funders, and help ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed milestones. You will write and prepare summaries of key meetings / workshops, arrange for materials to be posted on the website, co-ordinate materials for annual reporting. You will prepare briefing updates and log outputs and examples of impact and engagement. A key element of the role is to manage the processes of research data applications and the arrangements for receipt of data, ensure that key timelines are met, and adhere to data governance requirements at all stages. You will organise meetings, seminars and workshops.
Applicants should have experience of providing first-rate project coordination support, possess excellent organisational and IT skills, and have the ability to liaise confidently with a wide range of internal and external contacts at all levels, communicating effectively both in writing and verbally. The role will require you to work proactively, using your own initiative, and will have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team, producing work to specific deadlines. You will work closely with other project coordinators to support research and research-related activities in CHE.
