The Training Gateway was established in July 2008 and provides a brokerage for organisations wishing to source quality education and training from UK Universities, colleges and accredited British training providers. The Training Gateway is funded through membership subscriptions from UK training and education providers. Since 2008, The Training Gateway membership has grown to over 1,600 members representing every UK University, FE colleges and a growing number of private training providers.
You will undertake a varied range of administrative duties including the registration of and communication with Training Gateway members, liaising with customers based in the UK and overseas about their training requirements, dealing with customer queries about our services and helping them access our online portal via email and telephone, supporting the marketing activities of the Training Gateway with email campaigns and marketing literature, creating and updating web pages, organising meetings, monitoring budgets and ensuring our members and customers receive great customer service.
Working as part of a team, you will provide administrative support to the Project Manager of The Training Gateway. The role supports the organisation in all areas of administration and has specific responsibility for organisation of small portfolio of short courses, networking events and International Trade Missions. You will have experience in a busy administrative environment working with competing priorities and dealing with customers.
You will have strong IT skills that will enable you to support the team efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team, cooperative environment is essential as is an understanding of excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to work on a small but varied project and gain experience in a wide range of areas, and would be a great secondment opportunity.
This post is available on a fixed term basis for 10 months, with a possible two month extension.
