As part the Directorate of Estates & Campus Services [DECS], this role reports to the Accommodation Services Manager within the Space & Accommodation team.
The Space & Accommodation team manages the application, allocation and landlord functions for University accommodation. Accommodation Services act as landlord for 5,900 on-campus bedrooms in nine college communities. This post supports the Accommodation Services Manager. You will be responsible for delivering a responsive, friendly and professional service to current and potential students, as well as to staff and external partners. You will manage the operational processes for Accommodation Services and initiate and lead service improvement projects relating to student accommodation.
Requirements of this role include a good working knowledge of accommodation management and a strong student focus. You will need to demonstrate a flexible, can-do attitude, evidence of successfully leading a team, excellent communication skills across all levels, high quality customer service, experience of solving problems and improving processes.
You should be educated to A level standard or hold equivalent educational qualifications or relevant experience.
