Role Description

As Fitness Instructor you will be an outgoing, enthusiastic and fully qualified professional, with a  positive 'can do' attitude that can assist us in providing effective, professional and high quality fitness based services to York Sport members and guests, within a fitness and group exercise environment.

York Sport Village is a state of the art gym furnished with Technogym equipment as well as a strength and conditioning facility set over 2 sites.

You should be a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) member and qualified in exercise to music, or similar group based exercise qualification, and have proven experience of working within a fitness leisure club.

You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be required to deliver excellent customer care and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to adding value to individuals and York Sport, through quality fitness provision.  

The starting salary is £18,424 per annum and the hours of work are 37 per week.  The successful applicant must be available to work a varied shift pattern including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
