Role Description

The Research Strategy and Policy Office are seeking two administrators to support the preparation of the submissions for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.

The role holder will co-design and manage processes and systems for the effective collection of required data for the REF submission, using their knowledge of research and impact in the relevant subject areas and of the REF guidance and criteria. The role will also require good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individual academic staff as well as liaising with staff across the Faculty and University.

The role holders will be based in the Faculty but also work in close collaboration with the Research Strategy and Policy Office (who oversee the University's REF submission) and with academic Departments, who are responsible for developing the submissions to units of assessment.
