Role Description

The Global Partnerships Officer will manage and develop key partnerships in key areas of the world to facilitate joint academic projects.  As part of a team within Global Engagement, you will sustain and develop relationships with international organisations, manage the University’s membership of the Worldwide Universities Network, and develop expert knowledge in particular regions.  

You will provide analysis and briefing materials for senior staff, organise international visits, and host international delegations.  You will support the Director of Global Engagement in major strategic projects, and support the work of the University’s International Committee.

You will have a University Degree and a general education which includes 3 passes at A Level or and equivalent educational qualification, or relevant experience.

You will have knowledge and experience of working internationally, and of higher education.  You will have very high-quality written communication skills, and a diplomatic and culturally sensitive approach. 

You will also have a good knowledge of Global and Current Affairs with excellent IT Skills and excellent organisational skills. You will have the ability to write concise summary reports and have the ability to update and maintain websites.
