Role Description

We are looking for talented professional to join one of our busy catering outlets.  We are seeking a Chef de Partie with a passion for fine dining food production who also have the ability to produce both quality and quantity high volume catering.  Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef you will prepare delicious home cooked food using fresh ingredients.  With a passion for what you do you will ensure food is presented to the highest standards and complies with all relevant regulations and company standards.

You will preferably have experience in high volume food production and be able to demonstrate the ability to cook quality fresh food for students and staff on our campus.  You will also possess NVQ 1 and 2 or equivalent and a basic food safety qualification such as Foundation Food Hygiene certificate. Excellent career progressing opportunity.

Hours of work will average 37 per week on a “5 days out of 7” basis but there is a need for flexibility to support business demand. There will be a proportion of evening and occasional weekend work.

You will be entitled to 38 days annual leave which includes bank holidays and closure days over the Christmas and New Year period.

All uniform is provided and laundered. There will be no split shifts with the earliest shift starting at 6.00am and the latest finishing at 8.00pm.

The starting salary is £19,000 per annum.
