Role Description

The UK/EU Student Recruitment and Widening Participation Team organises major pre-application open days, campus tours, information days for younger pupils, residential visits and representation at over 60 exhibitions in the UK and Europe.   The office deals with requests for prospectuses and many enquiries from candidates, teachers, parents, careers advisors and members of University staff seeking advice on admissions matters and student recruitment.

This is an exciting time to join this successful and dynamic team and support our student recruitment and widening participation activity which forms part of our commitment to our Access Agreement with the Office for Fair Access.

You will play a key administrative role in supporting the everyday operation of the team and will carry out a wide range of administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the office.  You should have proven organisational and planning skills and experience of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

You should be educated to GCSE grade C level (or equivalent), be competent in all Microsoft Office applications and preferably have experience of the higher or further education system in the UK.
