We are seeking an excellent PA and administrator to join the Vice-Chancellor’s Department, supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the Dean of the York Graduate Research School (YGRS).
You will balance the demands of a busy diary with conflicting commitments; build good relationships across departments; arrange and service meetings; draft and prepare documentation and organise travel, accommodation and events.
You will need to have good interpersonal and organisational skills as well as excellent IT skills. Key to this role is the ability to juggle competing demands, ensuring the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the Dean of YGRS’ priorities are reflected in their diaries, managing large email inboxes to deal with correspondence quickly and accurately, and supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the Dean of YGRS on small projects.
Salary will be within the range £20,989 - £24,285 per annum.
