We are looking for a talented Executive Head Chef to join our team.
The Executive Head Chef is a key member of our Catering, Bars & Hospitality management team. Reporting to the Food Development Manager you will ensure the highest standards of food throughout our many and varied catering outlets. Not only will you be responsible for delivering, and where possible exceeding, our targets (both quality and financial) you will also be involved with the continuing development of our food offering.
You will have shared responsibility for the craft training of all chefs employed by the University and YCL and along with the Food Development Manager you will manage all campus food production and procurement.
This is a challenging and rewarding role which will call on the highest craft and management skills required to meet standards of excellence in everything from a simple sandwich to the finest of ‘fine dining’.
Hours of work will be 37 per on a “5 days out of 7” basis as there is a need for flexibility to support business demand and you may be required to work weekends and bank holidays. Close down period at Christmas.
