We wish to recruit an experienced professional manager to lead the University’s central Progression and Awards team in Student Services. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role in a team that supports the implementation of a number of key University projects, and contributes to the ongoing enhancement of the Student Experience at the University.
As Progression and Awards Manager, you will be responsible for the development and operational delivery of the systems which calculate progression and award decisions for all taught students. These processes are central to the maintenance of student records and to the integrity of University of York degrees. Working as a team manager within out busy Student Services department you will have the energy and commitment to deliver consistently accurate processes to strict deadlines in order to provide an excellent service to our students and departments, and meet the University’s institutional reporting requirements. You will be a natural collaborator able to work with varied stakeholders including those based in academic departments, other areas of Student and Academic Services and other University professional services. Importantly you will have a genuine commitment to providing an excellent service.
