Applications are invited for three practitioners to join a new evening team at Open Door, hours will be term time only 3.30 pm-11.30 pm. Open Door offers support to students experiencing psychological and mental health difficulties. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced mental health professional who has recent experience of working with common mental health difficulties using evidence based brief psychological intervention and who holds an appropriate qualification and registration/accreditation with an appropriate professional body e.g HCPC, NMC, BACP, OR BABCP.
You will need knowledge of the range of mental health difficulties which present within the university population, and highly developed practitioner skills. You will need emotional resilience and the capacity to manage personal responses to stressful situations.
The hours of work will be 37 per week during 30 weeks of the year (3x 10 week terms).
