The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint a Departmental Manager. The post provides a unique opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to contribute to the continued success and growth of one of the UK’s leading Computer Science departments.
Working closely with the Head of Department, Deputy Heads of Department, and other senior academic and administrative colleagues you will play a leading role in the Department's strategic planning, and also provide leadership to the Department’s administrative and technical support staff.
You will be educated to first degree level or equivalent, with substantial experience of strategic planning, policy development, service delivery, project management and financial management. Proven staff management with demonstrable experience of developing and leading high performing teams and support services in a complex environment are also essential. Experience of working in a higher education or related environment would be an advantage.
