Do you want to be a part of a team that is making big changes to the IT services offered at one of the UK’s leading universities?
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Web Infrastructure Engineer to help define and build our new services, as we transform our development approach and the services we offer.
About the Role

You’ll provide specialist expertise to colleagues, departments and centres, and identify the need for new and enhanced systems/technologies.
By joining us now at this exciting time of change, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the implementation and gain a great deal of experience in the process.
You’ll have a good understanding of modern approaches to high availability web services and their management (including CDNs, containers and orchestration tools) as well as a keen interest in build engineering and the tools that support it.
We’re looking for someone with experience in the following areas:
If you don’t have experience in all of these areas, but can demonstrate your ability to quickly gain the skills then we would still like to hear from you!
We’ll provide as much support as possible for your development and learning, including time to investigate new technologies and attendance at relevant conferences.
