We are seeking a self-motivated individual looking for a challenging project to oversee and co-ordinate the University’s Research Excellence Framework 2021 submission.
You will have a unique set of attributes ranging from strong operational skills to excellent interpersonal and diplomatic abilities.
You will work closely with the Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and the Research Strategy and Policy Manager, using your experience of managing a large or complex project and knowledge of research assessment. Your ability to work with a wide range of staff both internally and externally will be important, together with strong numerate and IT skills.
You will enjoy working in a diverse and demanding environment, with strict deadlines and the requirement to manage differing priorities.
You will understand the issues relating to the academic research process and the context in which it operates and have an interest in research impact.

The post is full time on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2021 and the salary will be in the range £38,832 - £47,722 a year.
