The Centre for Renaissance and Early Modern Studies requires a part time administrator (40% of full-time), following the retirement of the previous post holder. The Centre Administrator is a key member of staff in this interdisciplinary centre, working collaboratively with colleagues from across the University. The main responsibilities of this post include office management, academic administration, financial management, support for research activity, marketing and publicity, web officer and conference and event administration. You will be the interface between the staff and the students and the interface between the Centre, the University and the outside world. The Centre has a high profile, both nationally and internationally, so a high level of diplomacy, attention to detail and decision-making expertise is required.
Because of the requirement for the post holder to access student data, we cannot consider applications from current students at the University of York (or those who plan to take up a course of study at the University).
Closing date: 24 October 2017
