Role Description

Working closely with the programme leads – Professor Tim Doran (Department of Health Sciences) and Professor Richard Cookson (Centre for Health Economics) you will be responsible for administering a Wellcome funded research programme within the department of Health Sciences.

You will be required to liaise with collaborators at the University of York and other academic and policy institutions and be responsible for editing dissemination material, updating web material, handling social and conventional media, and organizing conferences and workshops.  You will have some knowledge of project management with excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with advanced knowledge of IT and web-based packages.

Attention to detail and the ability to plan and organise your work are essential requirements of this role in order to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
