Role Description

The University of York holds the contract to deliver ‘Think Ahead’ - a new, two-year, accelerated scheme for graduates and career-changers to become mental health social workers.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to the development and delivery of this exciting new programme with its emphasis on the integration of high quality ‘academic’ and ‘practice’ learning. You will be a registered social worker with experience of mental health social work and possess a postgraduate degree in social work or have equivalent experience. Experience in teaching and learning in HE at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate level or in an evidenced similar context is also essential. You must also be willing to travel extensively in the course of your work.
